JOURNAL «FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED HYDROPHYSICS»

«Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics» (ISSN 2073-6673) is peer-reviewed journal. The Editorial Board of the Journal accepts for publication scientific articles, short communications and reviews describing the current state of the principal research aspects of hydrophysics:
•    issuesoffundamentalhydrophysics;‎‏
•    ‏interaction of ‏ physical fields of marine objects*, ocean‏ and ‏atmosphere‏;
•    natural physical fields of the ocean, their variability and interaction with the atmosphere and the bottom;
•    interaction of physical fields and aquatic ecosystems;
•    ‎‎‎methods and means for registration hydrophysical fields of ocean and marine ‏objects‎;
•    ‎‎information technologies in problems of hydrophysics, design ‎and operation of marine ‎facilities‎;‎‏
•    ‏hydrobionics;
•    the history of science and technics in hydrophysics.

*The marine objects are underwater and surface vessels and vehicles, engineering structures, features of the bottom and coastline topography, marine mammals and fish.

«Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics» is published under the guidance of the ‎Department of the Earth Sciences of RAS since 2008, issued 4 times a year.‎ The founders of the Journal are Russian Academy of Sciences and St. Petersburg Research Center of the RAS.

The Journal is included in the list of Higher ‎Attestation Commission (HAC) of the Russian Federation, indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index RSCI (it is available on Web of Science) and Scopus (since 2017).

The papers can be submitted in Russian or English. The format of the publication is bilingual. The publication for authors is free of charge including color figures. All published articles are open access on the website of the Journal https://hydrophysics.spbrc.ru.

The Journal «Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics» is intended for scientists, engineers and sea equipment designers, students, graduate ‎students and teachers ‎of the higher education institutions specializing in ‎fundamental and applied hydrophysics.
